My fascination with colours 

Ever since my early childhood, I have been fascinated by colors. The use of contrasting colours plays an important role in my works. In my colour combinations I strive to create pleasing contrasts and consonances, always in an endeavour to attain harmony in the chromatic unity. 




My diverse cultures play a role

An idea for a painting can be conceived and set in one particular culture with its title making a direct reference to this or there can be a combination of elements of the cultures familiar to me in my life.


My constant challenge

The creation of my artworks represent a constant challenge. They first undergo a process of "development", followed by an inevitable "demise" before finally culminating in a fruitful "rebirth". These subjectively finished works of art ultimately become my heartfelt "children".
